The site comprises a 6 acres playing field surrounded by hedges and mature trees. There is a recently refurbished enclosed play area catering for children from 0-13 years. This provides swings, slides, etc, extra seating and a picnic area. Additionally there is a multi use games area suitable for netball, cricket, football and basketball which is used by people of all ages. Nearby is a small enclosed seating area for spectators or to provide shelter from the elements. Around the perimeter is a crushed stone track with further seating which is well used by cyclists, joggers and walkers including dog walkers. In the centre is a large open space which is much appreciated by all and often used for kite flying, creative play or peaceful contemplation.
