The Recreation Field has been in the hands of the Parish Council since it was donated in 1938. Last year, the local play group applied for a grant from the lottery and got it for young children on the bottom third of the field. We are now trying to get some funds to develop the rest of the field, part of which will be a ball games area and the top part for people to walk dogs and relax. It is hoped the ball games area can be made into a multi use games area for older children and teenagers.
