Abbey Green Park is located in the conservation area in the centre of Polesworth, in the Borough's Area Forum North. It is readily accessible, with a large residential catchment area.  There are two football pitches, tennis courts, a bowling green, a toddler/junior play area and a teen area. The last two were installed in 2005-2006 as part of the Borugh Council's Play Area Development Programme funded through capital and revenue budgets and the Market Towns Initiative. The development of a management plan for the park, with a view to achieving Green Flag standard, has been identified as a priority in the North Warwickshire Green Space Strategy and an area close to the river is to be developed as a Local Nature Area through a partnership project with Warwickshire Wildlife Trust and Groundwork West Midlands, funded by Natural England. Over 1000 people attended a recent Love Parks event held in the park.
