A beautifully set playing field in the Derbyshire Peak District used by village football and cricket teams, the local Primary School, Bowls and Tennis Clubs and with Junior and Infant Play Areas. The ground also hosts the village Carnival and Music Festival. There is a Wildflower area in an old quarry hollow and the field, play equipment, pavilion, toilet block and car park are all maintained by the Parish Council. Plans are to raise money to provide a Multi Use Games Area and a Fitness Trail to encourage even wider use by the community and visitors. The toilet block is equipped for disabled use and our recent upgrade to the pavilion included a disabled ramp to the main room with a hardcore wheelchair path joining it to the car park.
